Old WordPress Versions Under Attack!
Hello Dear Readers! Yes, I know I didn’t left a note telling you guys that I won’t be able to update my blog. Apologies for that. Well, for some reason my blog has been infected by a worm and I can’t get my blog running! The number of sites hit by this is growing every hour. So to those Bloggers out there, I encourage you to update your WordPress now & protect your blog before its too late. I am the best example. Sad to say, I have been trying to retrieve my old files this past few days but to no avail – meaning I need to rewrite everything so please be patient with me. Thanks to all my loyal readers who has been checking back to this site every now and then.

I have been following your blog for months and i was sad since it was down.
I advise you to update wordpress and the plugins you use when update is released. Because these updates are made to keep your Wrdpress secure.
And monthly backup your wordpress, using its export feature. Thus, you can save your posts / comments ..
And every three month, download your wp-content folder to your computer using FTP connection..

Hi Onur,
Thanks for the advise, it will surely help me a lot! I have used WordPress export feature but only the 2008 and September 2009 entries have been saved. Tjose important articles I wrote has been gone! It’s such a pain to write them all over again. What’s more upsetting is Google & Yahoo has been crawling my previous work which is now no longer active and visitors will surely be disappointed. I will try your downloading my wp-content folder as you suggested every quarter, if ever I get stuck I might need your help.
